Summer Adventure in Vermont, Once More

While the name of the race, the “Hard Fall” is a reference to the original 24 hour race held in 2021, GMARA is back at it again, this time with a summer edition of the Hard Fall. Teams heading to the Green Mountain State for this year’s race should expect to find a lot of control points. While there has been some internet speculation on the generous size of the course, the actual number of checkpoints will remain under wraps until race day. Teams will also have an additional three hours to complete the course as the race organizers have been able to allow for a 27 hour race this year. With 27 hours, teams can also expect to cover some significant distances while gaining quite a bit of elevation. The course itself is under wraps but a flyover video will come out shortly after race start so we can get a better view of what promises to be well over 100 miles of racing.

Adventure Racing Insider will be on site for the 2024 Hard Fall and we’re really looking forward to getting back to Vermont. I need to stock up on maple syrup anyway.
