Largest field ever for a 3 Hour Maine Summer AR have finished!

A huge field of new racers, young and old decided to try out a shorter version of the Maine Summer Adventure Race. A family friendly event, the 3 hour race had just over 100 participants who trekked and biked on a truncated section of the 24 hour race. It’s always great to see new racers lining up to try out the sport and enthusiasm was high when teams took off at noon today. Arriving back at P-3 Park in Brunswick, this first group of teams is well into lunch and ready for awards. I hope the race has been a challenging but fun time for all the teams out there and we hope to see them out on longer and longer courses as the AR bug will surely bite some of these racers :)
