The Notch

This is where the 2023 USARA Nationals course gets a little bit more difficult. Teams are now tasked with completing a steep and treacherous road bike section up and over Smuggler’s Notch. A winding, pitted and narrow road guides racers through the pass to the south and on to the most difficult land navigation section of the course.
