After a fast start on Stage A, teams got to their bikes early and took off down road and trail to the remote Crystal Lake Camps. There they would encounter a mountain bike orienteering section that many teams would complete in the dark. Then it would be a long grind to the last transition area in Ralston. Photos by Nic Wynia
