2:55 am - Team Onyx continues to push their limits
Battling illness, injury, and the course itself, Team Onyx is the second team to arrive at TA 6. They’ll be resting here a bit after an adjustment on the last stage. As many adventure racers know, the times between 3am and 5am are literally and figuratively the darkest parts of the night. It’s quiet. It’s cold. It seems like the night will never end. Knowing they will move faster with a few rays of sunshine on their faces, they are resting here for a bit, hoping to push hard to the finish. They’re playing the strategy game now as many teams continue to be foiled by the canyon sections.
