Boats on the water!
Standing on the shore of Crowley Lake, race staff and volunteers are starting to see teams appear as tiny dots on the horizon. Most teams have cleared the winding river section and are on to a flatwater paddle. Waiting for teams coming off the water is agonizing sometimes because it looks like they are moving so slowly, but these teams are FAST.
